eSports plans to enter European Games

10 January 2013

The International eSports Federation (IeSF) is attempting to get accepted by the European Olympic Committee (EOC), so that eSports can be included in the future European Games.

The IeSF is planning a strategy which will hopefully see eSports being included in the Games, and which will benefit all competitive gaming in general.

While the IeSF is awaiting its European fate, the federation has linked up with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), and is preparing its eSports event to be part of the fourth Asia Indoor & Martial Arts Games. The event is to be held on 29 June to 6 July 2013.
