Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 release date

Fans of beating the hell out of things will be glad to know that the sequel to Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage has a release date.

Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 will be delivering a knockout punch on 8 February 2013 for Xbox 360 and PS3. Wii U owners will have access to a download-only version of the game on 7 February.

Ken’s Rage 2 follows the story of Ken, a man with seven scars on his chest and the chosen successor of the legendary assassin’s art of Hokuto Shinken – The Divine Fist of the North Star. Ken has sworn to protect the weak and innocent from the malicious gangs roaming the scorched planet.

The game is a story driven arcade brawler with plenty of over the top violence – a staple of the manga series from which it was adapted.

The game will feature a Legend Mode (campaign), over 20 playable characters, new moves, a dream mode (which fills the gaps of the original story), and online co-op and versus play.

Also included is a never before visualised playable episode dedicated to Ken’s faithful companions, Bat and Rin.
