Although the official trailer is only due to be released today a series of leaks has revealed that Red Dead Redemption will be released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on the 27th of April, 2010.
The sequel to Red Dead Revolver is currently being developed by Rockstar San Diego – the designers responsible for Midnight Club and the Smugglers Run franchises and will be powered by the infamous Grand Theft Auto IV RAGE tech engine.
Few details have been revealed regarding the sequel apart from the fact that it will be set in 1908 and will follow outlaw John Marston as he is sent across the American Frontiers to establish rule of law.
It will be sandbox based, with horses offering the primary mode of transport.
