ARMA 3 devs finally freed from prison

The jailed ARMA 3 devs, who were held by Greek authorities under suspicion of esionage, have finally been released.

The 28- and 33-year-old developers were taken to the island of Lesbos, where they faced accusations of espionage, after the two were caught taking photos and video of military installations on the island of Lemnos.

The two developers, Czechs Ivan Buchta and Martin Pezlar, each posted the €5,000 (R58,800) bail after 128 days of captivity.

“Right now we’re waiting for an official statement from Greece, but it’s definitely a very positive turn of events,” said Bohemia Interactive, developer and publisher of the ARMA warfare simulation franchise.
