Series developer Harmonix has announced yet another addition to its Rock Band franchise – set to be a follow up to recently released The Beatles: Rock Band.
Green Day: Rock Band, which was confirmed at the recent Spike TV annual Video Game Awards, will include the American rock band’s likenesses as well as actual venues and a number of Green Day’s biggest songs.
Although a release date has not yet been confirmed it has been revealed that the game will be released in 2010 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii with Harmonix adding that “the track list will be fully exportable, giving players the opportunity to play the songs in Rock Band and Rock Band 2 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.”
