A sequel to the 2008 Lucas Arts release Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was this weekend confirmed in the form of a short teaser trailer.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, like its predecessor, will reportedly be a third person action adventure title with primarily melee type weapons. No platforms or dates have yet been confirmed although it is reasonable to assume that it will initially be released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 like the original.
The game’s official website (www.unleashed2010.com) suggests that the game will be released at some point next year. It has also been confirmed that players will once again control Starkiller – Darth Vader’s secret apprentice.
