Vox Telecom is planning to launch aggressively priced data packages, aimed at Telkom’s high speed 20Mbps and 40Mbps VDSL services which are set to become available in early March 2013.
Vox Telecom’s Douglas Reed explained that the new products will be unshaped. Subscribers will also carry over any data which is not used in a calendar month.
“If a customer takes the 50GB package and only uses 25GB per month, they will accumulate 250GBs of unused data to use after 10 months of data rollover,” Reed explained.
The following large ADSL data bundles are being planned by Vox Telecom:
- 50GB for R250.00
- 75GB for R371.25
- 100GB for R490.00
- 150GB for R727.25
- 200GB for R960.00
- 250GB for R1,187.50
- 300GB for R1,410.00
- 400GB for R1,860.00
- 500GB for R2,300.00
Further good news, apart from the aggressive per-GB prices, is that Vox Telecom is planning new bolt-on services, such as zero-rated voice services and zero-rated movie downloads from selected video-on-demand suppliers.
