Although game developers Croteam have been busying themselves lately with a series of high definition reissues of Serious Sam: The First Encounter and The Second Encounter, they have also revealed that they are hard at work developing a fresh out of the box release which is due to hit shelves in 2010.
“Serious Sam 3 is happening for sure,” Croteam CEO Roman Ribaric recently told Destructoid, “It is currently planned to be finished in 2010.”. Although there is little known regarding the shooter Ribaric has previously said that it will “leave the cartoony look [of Serious Sam 2] behind.”
Although platforms are yet to be confirmed it has been revealed that Serious Sam 3 will use the same game engine that powers the high definition revamps.
