According to Fudzilla, French DJ David Guetta has spilled the beans on a sequel to Activision’s DJ Hero. Guetta is supposedly involved in the project, a fact which comes as no surprise given that he was also involved in its predecessor.
While DJ Hero enjoyed solid sales figures, it was not the phenomenon that Activision may have been hoping for. It therefore comes as a bit of a surprise that the Publisher is already investing in a sequel.
Details are scant, and there is not even any official confirmation that the game exists. However, given that nature of the game and the fact that it is based on existing IP it is likely that it will not take too long to develop. We are banking on a late 2010 release.
