As always, Steam,, Greenman Gaming, and the stalwart, Indie Royale, have digital download deals to tempt you this weekend, including Hard Reset, Black Ops 2, Skyrim, and XCOM Enemy Unknown.

Indie Royale The Chosen Bundle

Indie Royale continues to impress with another great package. This time they have the cyberpunk shooter Hard Reset leading the pack. Point and click adventure Jolly Rover, abstract and mathematical puzzler Vertex Dispenser, gaming industry self-referential DLC Quest, and RPG shooter Lair of The Evildoer round out the package.

Those who pay $8 USD (or their currency equivalent) during the Chosen Bundle will get Daniel Capo’s O.S.T: Original Soundtrack in MP3 and FLAC format.

Steam Specials

Steam is running weekend deals as usual, with both Black Ops II and Gratuitous Space Battles free to play over the weekend. Black Ops II is discounted to $40.19, and Gratuitous Space Battles is discounted to US$3.74, or US$4.74 for the complete pack..

Steam is also tugging on your nostalgic heart-strings with the Fallout Collection going cheap.

Finally, PC gamers and heavy metal fans were treated to the news that Brutal Legend is launching on Steam next week. The game is on pre-order at 25% discount; US$14.99 for standard, or US$18.74 for the game plus heavy metal soundtrack.

You can’t really dust for vomit.

Xbox LIVE Deal of the Week

If you’re that one Xbox 360 gamer that still doesn’t have Skyrim, the ZA Xbox LIVE Marketplace is offering the game at a discount to Gold members for R399. Check out MyGaming’s Skyrim review: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim review (PC) RPG weekend

Online game delivery service, GOG, is holding a “pricing experiment” that will see if lower prices will bring in more gamers.

Games like Alien Shooter, Commandos Ammo Pack, Empire Earth, and Rollercoaster Tycoon have been cut from $5.99 to $3.99.

More expensive games, such as Shadowgrounds, Sherlock Holmes, and Broken Sword 4: The Angel of Death have been reduced from $9.99 to $6.99.

If the sale goes well, GOG will be introducing some more games to the special list.

Greenman Gaming specials

As always, Greenman Gaming has a number of deals on PC games, including new-releases, classic games, and pre-orders. This week their discount voucher code (available on site) provides a further 20% discount on top of any discounts already in place.

This week among the deals, you can find XCOM Enemy Unknown for US$16.00 using the voucher.
