THQ has announced that its remaining assets will be sold, following the company’s bankruptcy in December 2012.
THQ’s initial IPs, which included some big-name hitters, such as the Saints Row and Metro licenses, were auctioned off to the highest bidders. Ubisoft and Crytek were among the companies who acquired the publishing rights.
The company is now putting its prized possessions, Darksiders, Red Faction, Homeworld and others up for grabs.
Owned and licenced software, featuring Marvel Super Hero Squad, Supreme Commander and Destroy All Humans among others, will also be on auction.
The IPs will be sold in a court-supervised sale process, which the bids need to be submitted by 1 April 2013.
