With news that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be arriving on current and next-gen consoles, Ubisoft has explained some of the differences that will stand out on the PS4 version.

“In addition to improved graphics and physics, Next Gen versions will bring to the players new connected features allowing them to feel that even if they remain ‘Single Player’ it will be better to be a ‘Single Connected Player,’” said Ubisoft’s creative director Jean Guesdon.

“I mean, that Next Gen Consoles will allow players to have a solo experience that benefit the presence of a huge community.”

There are also rumours surrounding some PS4 controller specific features, presumably using the touch pad, but those features are speculated to be revealed at a later stage.

Ubsisoft also recently delivered some more details on the story and gameplay elements of Assassin’s Creed 4.
