Saturday, 16 March 2013, saw the the Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm Invitational tournament take place at The Forum, The Campus business park in Bryanston, where some of SA’s strongest Starcraft 2 players went up against the world’s best.
A highlight of the event was South Africa’s very own Rob “PandaTank” Botha taking on Romania’s Silviu “NightEnd” Lazar, in an officially sanctioned MSSA event.
In terms of the results for the overall event, NightEnd took home the grand prize of R20,000, while PandaTank grabbed the runner-up prize of R10K.
Skiblet came in third place and took home R5,000.
The test match between Pandatank and NightEnd saw NightEnd take the crown with a 2-0 win.
