Electronic Arts has been nominated for the Worst Company in America award at the 2013 annual Consumerist awards.

Also in the running for the not-so-desirable award is PayPal, Bank of America, AT&T, Ticket Master, and Comcast.

The nominees are put onto a versus-style ladder match, with each company advancing if they get the most votes.

EA’s first nominee-opponent is ABInBev, an investment company that specialises in beer brands.

If EA makes it to the next round, the game company will then have to face off against either Google or Facebook, depending on who wins that fight.

Head over to the Consumerist website to find out more on the awards.
