One of the best things about older mobile phones was the chance to play Snake every time you had an opportunity to sit down for a few minutes.
The challenge of the game also contributed to its nostalgia, but while it may seem relatively impossible, someone has managed to complete the game.
A gif image hit the internet a few days ago, and was passed around on Reddit faster than you can say “Nokia 3310”.
The gif shows a perfect execution of the game, as all the pellets are consumed without the snake touching a wall or its tail, culminating in the snake eating its last pellet, which makes it 801 blocks – one block bigger than the playing field.
The game then has no “real” ending, and instead finished with a kill-screen.
There was speculation of whether it’s a bot or human-controlled simulation, however, due to the irregular movements of the snake, its suggested that it was in fact being controlled by a human.
