Pop Cap has announced a sequel to its uber-popular multi-platform tower-defense game, as Plants vs. Zombies 2 will be shambling its way to gamers in July 2013.
There are no details on the platforms it will arrive on at this point, but it’s safe to assume that it’ll launch on iOS, Mac OS X ,and Windows, with console and mobile ports to follow.
Pop Cap did announce that a sequel was in the works back in August 2012, and would feature a “bevy of new features, settings, and situations.”
There is no gameplay at the moment, but Pop Cap did release a teaser video, which showcases some personalities that will be familiar to YouTube users.
