In another I-didn’t-mean-to-tweet-that story, an EA dev made an unflattering comment about Nintendo’s Wii U console, the very console that they have developed for.
Bob Summerwill, software engineer at EA Sports’ Canada studio said that: “The Wii U is crap. Less powerful than an Xbox 360. Poor online/store. Weird tablet.”
“Nintendo are still operating like it’s 1990,” added Summerwill.
Summerwill then deleted the tweets, but one internet-second is too long to try and hide something.
The Wii U hasn’t had the best support from big-name game publishers since its launch, and last week, EA’s Jeff Brown raised some doubts about EA’s dedication to the console.
“We have no games in development for the Wii U currently,” said EA’s Jeff Brown. Brown also didn’t say whether the publisher will continue development projects for the console in the future.

I bought a WiiU and I must admit that I am not regretting it. Party games are AWESOME! Backwards compatible with Wii games which was a big part in me buying it… I play Nintendo titles on it and I play NES games on it… I play Mario 😀
Yes it is not as powerfull, but you know what it doesn’t need to be… I enjoy it and Nintendo’s games that they bring out on it.
