Developers Valve has officially announced the release of a second update for platformer/puzzle classic Portal. In keeping with the game’s mystery update policy very little information has been with regards to what it will bring to the game. The only information Valve supplied in the update notes was:
Added valuable asset retrieval
The first mystery update, which was released on Monday, added various radio transmissions to the game which lead to Morse Code, hidden images and a secret Apeture Science BBS. All the while rumours were circulating around the prospective announcement of Portal 2 and/or Half-Life 2: Episode Three.
Early reports suggest that the second mystery update has changed the ending to the game.
