Sony has shed some light on the much-discussed topic of next-gen game prices, giving some good news (or bad news, depending how you look at it) on the prices you’ll be paying when the PS4 launches.

Sony confirmed that all four first-party launch titles will be priced at $59.99 (around R597.00).

The four titles include Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub, Knack, and InFamous: Second Son.

With regards to the European regions (which SA essentially falls under), Sony said that prices are still being finalised.

“We haven’t confirmed pricing for titles in the SCEE region yet,” said a Sony UK spokesperson.

Microsoft previously announced that the game for Xbox One will stay within the retail price of $59.99 and won’t exceed it for standard versions.
