Local mega-retailer Makro is currently running an impressive special on the Xbox 360 Elite.
For R2999, you can now get the full Xbox 360 Elite console as well as the Falo bundle which includes Fable II, Halo 3 and an extra Xbox 360 controller. The console alone carries a recommended retail price of R3399, and the Falo bundle goes for around R900. The sale therefore represents a gross saving of around R1300. There has never been a better time to get an Xbox 360, and this may be just the thing to convince prospective Xbox 360 owners that have been sitting on the fence.
The special price is valid until March 15, and stock is of course limited.
Since the special is such a great deal, we decided to scratch a few pennies together and buy one to give away to one lucky MyGaming forum member this month.
How to enter
There are three steps to entering:
1. Make 30 posts in the MyGaming forums between today (March 10) and April 10. Spam will be monitored, and spammers will be disqualified.
2. List 5 of your most wanted Xbox 360 games in your entry post.
3. Enter one lucky number between 1 and 500 in your entry post.
One winner will be announced on April 10 at 1pm, and the prize will be dispatched shortly thereafter.
You may enter immediately, but if your name is drawn on D-day and you have not got enough posts over the month, you will be disqualified.
