Face Noir, Dynasty Warriors 8 release this week

15 July 2013

The medieval fantasy MMORPG series of Runescape returns this week with Runescape 3, while the eighth instalment of the army-destroying Dynasty Warriors releases.

Face Noir

Face Noir is a point-and-click adventure set in New York City, 1934 that is developed by Mad Orange and inspired by the writing of Raymond Chandler.

The game is a throwback to the old-school mystery adventure genre, and should please PC gamers looking for something different, rather than shooting aliens, or stabbing terrorists.

Face Noir uses the Wintermute graphic engine to create a unique-looking 2.5D adventure.

Dynasty Warriors 8

The most insane ancient warrior beat-‘em-up makes its return, as Dynasty Warriors 8 releases this week.

Dynasty Warriors 8 is using the same engine of DW8, but that’s not a bad thing, because the developer, Omega Force, has focused on bringing more characters, content and replayability to the game than ever before.

One of the new features includes Commander Affinity, which allows players to pull of powerful moves depending on your affinity meter.

Face Noir’s logo kinda looks like Bioshock’s. Or… Bioshock kinda looks like the reference Face Noir got its logo inspiration from. Confusing.
