New GTA 5 details emerge

GTA 5 news

Following Rockstar’s detail-packed GTA 5 gameplay trailer release, we now have some new bits of info from the massive crime-spree.

Most importantly, the player will own a pet – a dog named Chop.

Chop can be customised with different collars and accessories, and he can even be lost if players are negligent – so be ready to keep an eye on your pooch.

In addition to your main four-legged companion, there will be 15 different species of wild animal in the game. These animals can be hunted, which we saw a glimpse of in the gameplay trailer.

The characters of Michael, Trevor and Franklin also have their own walks and animations to differentiate themselves.

Grand Theft Auto V will arrive in stores on 17 September 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360. No word on a PC version has been given, although given Rockstar’s history of PC releases, hopefully it emerges a few months after the console releases.
