With the recently announced Summer of Arcade promotion picking up some interest, its been confirmed that South African gamers will have access to the upcoming games and specials.
Xbox South Africa PR manager, Graeme Selvan, confirmed via Twitter that the local Xbox Live Marketplace will gain access to the Summer of Arcade, being referred to as the “Winter of Arcade” given South Africa’s current weather.
Selvan also added that “the FPB rated the content on time”, which is a good sign for SA gamers, as the FPB have previously been slow with ratings of content for the local audience.
The Summer of Arcade/Winter of Arcade promotion includes:
- Brothers: a Tale of two Sons – 7 August for 1,200 Points
- Charlie Murder – launches 14 August for 800 Points
- Flashback – 21 August 21st for 800 Points
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows – 28 August for 1,200 Points
- Bonus: A Souls Pack for Ascend: Hand of Kul if you buy any two of the 2013 Summer of Arcade games.
