A museum that showcases the history of computers and gaming consoles has opened in Cambridge, England.

“We’ve got loads of games to play, all on big old 25 inch TVs,” said director Jason Fitzpatrick said.

“All of the machines are here to be used, it’s not much fun to just look at a machine sat there doing nothing.”

The museum has over 80 working systems which are available to be played and used, such as the Nintendo TV-Game 6 and Famicom systems.

“On the computing side we’ve got lots of different home computers of the era and some machines which date back to the 60s,” said Fitzpatrick.

“Such as the great big machines with the reels of tape like in the James Bond films.”
