Digital retailers launch new gaming specials

Digital distribution platforms have announced a number of new specials and deals for the week. They are as follows:

Steam Specials

Steam has a number of specials running, including the WW-2 shooter Rising Storm, which has been discounted to $9.99.

The entire Red Orchestra franchise pack is on sale for $14.99 too.

The frightening Still Life bundle, which includes Still Life 1 and 2, has also been slashed down to $3.74.

Humble Indie

Humble Bundle has put its latest bundle special together, and this time publisher Deep Silver is delivering on the gaming goodness.

The Deep Silver Humble Bundle includes Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third, Risen 2: Dark Waters, and Sacred 2 Gold, and if you pay more than the average, you’ll get Dead Island Game of the Year edition and Saints Row: The Third Full Package, which is all the DLC included.

Pay more than $25 and you’ll get Dead Island Riptide as well.

GOG.com

GOG has its usual game sales running, with the indie hit Dyad on special for $3.74, while the haunting and spine-chilling Penumbra Collection, which includes Penumbra Overture, Black Plague, and the expansion Requiem, is on sale for $4.99.

GamersGate

GamersGate has their “Deals of the Day” running, which includes Race Injection (R74), Disciples: Gold Edition (R74), RUSE (R39), and Lara Croft: The Guardian of Light (R24).

Some great bundles includes the Prince of Persia pack, which features the original PoP, The Forgotten Sands, The Sands of Time, The Two Thrones and Warrior Within for R148.

Amazon

Amazon has the Bioshock Dual Pack on special, which gives you Steam game codes for Bioshock 1 and 2, for $4.99.

Bundle Stars

Bundle Stars’ game collection, the Superfly Indie bundle, is priced at R49 and features 10 games.

It includes Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD, Afterfall Insanity Extended Edition, Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers, Cargo Commander,Disciples III: Renaissance, The Journey Down: Chapter 1, Kung Fu Strike: The Warrior’s Rise, Dungeons: The Dark Lord, Weird Worlds: Return to Infinite Space and Zeno Clash

PS Plus

Sony has revealed its PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection lineup for August 2013. Those who subscribe to the PS Plus service are eligible for the “free” titles as long as they remain subscribed.

Xbox Live

Xbox 360 gamers will be getting Crackdown and Dead Rising 2 this month, according to reports, with Crackdown expected to hit the Games with Gold program from 1 August 2013.
