Sony is working on something big behind closed doors, as the former God of War 2 director has revealed in a blog post.

Cory Barlog, who worked on the highly-acclaimed God of War sequel, has returned to Sony Santa Monica after working in Hollywood, and on the Tomb Raider reboot.

Barlog said he’s unable to give any details on what’s he’s working on, but does assure that it’s something big.

“I can say that it is freaking huge, and it will live up to the standards that I helped establish here at SMS [Santa Monica Studios],” teased Barlog.

Sony Santa Monica is said to be working on a new non-God of War project, which features Battlestar Galactica writer Michael Angeli on board.
