Batman: Arkham Origins Collector’s Edition SA pricing

SA gaming retailer Animeworx has released its pricing for the Collector’s Edition of Batman: Arkham Origins.

The Collector’s Edition is priced at R1,055.00 and features a number of Bat-tastic goodies for Dark Knight fans.

Update: Ster Kinekor Entertainment has confirmed the RRP: R1099.99 for both PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Collector’s Edition includes:

Unique 3D Metal Pack.
Batman: Arkham Origins Collectible Art Book (80 pages).
Assassin’s Dossier Contract Pack (including files on the eight assassins, as well as Black Mask’s contract).
3 Exclusive DLC.
30cm Collectible Figurine.

The PS3 edition will also include the Knightfall pack as an exclusive piece of content.

Recently, UK-based game studio Splash Damage also announced that it will be developing the multiplayer portion of Batman: Arkham Origins.

Batman: Arkham Origins will release on 25 October 2013 on Wii U, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Developed by WB Games Montréal, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, players will meet many important characters for the first time and forge key relationships. Batman: Arkham Origins will ship with a multiplayer mode developed by Splash Damage that allows players to take the franchise’s award-winning gameplay online to play with friends and foes.
