Online retailers launch digital download deals

This week’s digital download specials range from great indie titles to discounts on the latest AAA offerings. Popular digital distribution services Steam, GOG.com, PSN, and Xbox LIVE are all running specials.

BT Games

To celebrate the launch of BT Games’ digital store, the retailer has some specials that end on 29 August, so you better get cracking.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition is going for only R129, while the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age: Origins is priced at R99.

Mass Effect 3 is also only R199.90, while Need for Speed: Pro Street has been slashed down to R39.

Greenman Gaming has Bioshock Infinite on special for 50% off, pricing it at $29.99, while the crazy platforming racing game Rush Bros. is going for only $3.39.

As always, Steam is giving your bank account those seductive doe-eyes. Among the big-hitters this week, you can get Brutal Legend for $4.99, Supreme Commander: Forced Alliance for $3.74 and the frightening Outlast for $15.99 on pre-order.

Over on GOG, there are a bunch of specials worth taking note of.

Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri is priced at $5.99, the Witcher 2 is going for $19.99 and the cult classic Fallout 2 is cut down to $9.99.
