rAge 2013: more details roll in

The organisers behind the annual gaming expo that is rAge have revealed some more details about the upcoming gaming get-together.

Entelect Software and NAG magazine will be hosting the Entelect 100K Challenge final at rAge, which tests the skills of developers to create an artificial intelligence to win the cash prize of R100,000. Entries for that close on 2 September.

Amazon Web Services will also be looking for prospective employees at rAge, so be sure to take your CV along if you’re an aspiring techie.

Matrix Warehouse will be giving away a gaming rig worth R30,000, while the Playstation 4 will also be on show at the Sony booth.

Boston Media House and Osiris e-commerce and online marketing are also showcasing what they have to offer.

LegionInk will be hosting the LegionInk Artists Alley, where SA’s best art designers, inkers and image artists will be featured.

And of course, there will be a bunch of games on show, including Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Batman: Arkham Origins, NBA 2K14, WWE 2K14, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, F1 2013, The Crew and Watchdogs, to name a few.

rAge is taking place on 4-6 October. Day tickets are R70 per person, and R120 for the whole weekend.
