Retailers cut prices on games, consoles

In addition to the digital specials this week, SA retailers have dropped prices on a variety of consoles and games.

South African gaming retailers have launched a number of respective specials on games, consoles and other items.

Rayman Legends special (Kalahari) – various prices

Kalahari is offering Rayman Legends for a lower launch price than we’ve come to expect from a new game.

On PS3 and Xbox 360, the gorgeous 2D platformer is R409, while only R269 on PC and R329 on PS Vita.

The special is valid while stocks last.

Xbox 360 bundle special (Makro) – R2299

Makro has an Xbox 360 bundle on special this weekend. The bundle includes a 4GB console, one controller, a play-and-charge kit and Tomb Raider for R2299.

PS3 and Vita bundle (Makro) – R4999

Makro’s other offer includes a PS3 console and PS Vita bundle. The bundle features a 500GB PS3 super-slim console and Dual-Shock 3, a PS Vita WiFi handheld console, a 4GB memory card and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, which works with cross-play on both systems.
