There was a wealth of gaming news throughout the week as we were still reeling from the deluge of Gamescom; but it wasn’t all international news as there was plenty of local gaming excitement.

There were online retail specials for digital games, a horde of new games released this week and we got up close and personal with Need for Speed: Rivals.
