Killzone: Mercenary – 4 September 2013

Killzone: Mercenary is a completely new game created specifically for PS Vita, that aims to deliver a an experience on par with that of its big brother PS3 counterpart.

The game is built on the same 3D engine that powers Killzone 3.

For the first time in a Killzone campaign, you’ll be fighting alongside Helghast forces as well as ISA specialists, carrying out missions that the regular soldiers just won’t or can’t.

As a mercenary you’re free to decide which tactics and loadouts you’ll use to fulfill your contract; your employers will reward you with state-of-the-art weaponry and cold, hard cash as long as you get the job done.

Total War: Rome 2 – 3 September 2013

Sega’s Total War: Rome 2 is set for release this week, and will further please PC strategy game fans, who have been treated with Company of Heroes 2, Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, and will undoubtedly be awaiting the new Command & Conquer.

The sequel to the 2004 hit strategy game will aim to be the biggest and most expansive game in the series, with a “turn-based campaign and the largest, most cinematic real-time battles yet seen in any game.”

The new Warscape Engine will power the visuals of the game and the new unit cameras will allow players to focus on individual soldiers on the battlefield, which in itself may contain thousands of combatants at a time.
