Capcom has delivered some new gameplay footage from its upcoming zombie-apocalypse-simulator, Dead Rising 3.

The gameplay demonstrates the amount of freedom and chaos that you have at your fingertips, along with the impressive weapon customisation and variety of zombie-killing actions available.

Dead Rising 3 will be an Xbox One exclusive, and stars a new hero named Nick Ramos.

The sequel will retain the series’ open-world design and weapon crafting systems, allowing for hundreds (if not thousands) of different weapon combinations.

Vehicles will now play a role, allowing Nick to hop into a number of different cars to help him get around the game world. Zombies can also attempt to hop on the vehicle and break in.

Microsoft SmartGlass will be integrated into the game, allowing players to call in artillery using the tablet-syncing feature.
