Courtesy of SterKinekor, MyGaming has 2 copies of MX vs. ATV: Reflex to giveaway this month, one for PS3 and one for Xbox 360.
Developed by Rainbow Studios, and published by THQ, Reflex is the third game in the MX vs. ATV series.
Players can participate in supercross or motorcross in either motorcross bikes, or ATVs (four wheel bikes). Events included in the game are omnicross, free ride, champion sport track, waypoint racing and freestyle motorcross.
Reflex is part of the popular MX vs. ATV series, although the game has been built from the ground up, and makes use of its own unique physics engine, as well as a unique control scheme. Both analogue sticks are used to control the bikes in what has been labelled the “relex” system. The left analog stick controls the handlebars, while the right stick takes care of the rider’s body movement.
Reflex also incorporates new terrain deformation, and different vehicles will carve their own unique paths through the tracks. The terrain will evolve and change as racers tear their way around the track, so every lap will feature subtle differences.
The game has been generally well received, and maintains a Metacritic score of 78% on Xbox 360, and 77% on PS3.
