SA Games with Gold offer changed

Games with Gold

Microsoft has confirmed that SA Xbox Live Gold members won’t be getting Shadowrun (as previously said) as the second Games with Gold offer, but will instead get Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.

The original games for Games with Gold were Magic: Duels of the Planeswalkers and Rainbow Six: Vegas, but due to local FPB ratings, South Africa was to get the sci-fi shooter Shadowrun instead of Vegas, but Microsoft SA’s Graeme Selvan has cleared up the offering.

“Shadowrun has unfortunately not been rated for South Africa. We have swapped out the title for Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts,” said Selvan.

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts released in 2008, and while it was a departure from its 3D platforming predecessors, the game was well-received by critics and gamers alike.

The game requires Banjo to build various vehicles to solve puzzles, win races or traverse to different places in the game world.

There is a great physics engine and very deep building mechanic that allows players to construct the most bizarre yet effective of machines.
