Nintendo lineup at rAge 2013

Nintendo will be in action at rAge 2013, showing off the new 2DS handheld console alongside current and upcoming Wii U and DS games.

The soon to be launched Nintendo 2DS handheld console, a streamlined version of the Nintendo 3DS that will play games available for Nintendo 3DS, will be available for hands-on time at rAge. Nintendo South Africa has not confirmed a launch date and pricing for the 2DS at this stage.

For Wii U, visitors can see Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and the first multiplayer 3D Mario game, Super Mario 3D World.

For the 3DS fans, there will be hands-on time with The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, and the super NES classic, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Also on show for 3DS is the hugely popular Pokémon X and Pokémon Y for 3DS.

Nintendo will also be holding give-aways with prizes up for grabs, and is giving away day-pass ticket on the Nintendo SA Facebook page.

rAge is taking place on 4-6 October. Day tickets are R70 per person, and R120 for the whole weekend.
