Assassin’s Creed 4 season pass announced

Ubisoft has announced that there will be downloadable content for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, which will be available through a season pass at an overall 20% discount on the price of standalone purchases.

The season pass will be available at the launch of the game and will include the content below:

Freedom Cry: A nine mission self-contained story featuring Edward Kenway’s first mate Adewale. Born a slave, Adewale found freedom as a pirate aboard the Jackdaw as Captain Edward Kenway’s second-in-command. Fifteen years later, Adewale has become a trained assassin and finds himself shipwrecked in Saint-Domingue with no weapon nor crew, starting a new adventure of his own.
The Exclusive Kraken Ship Pack – Only available to Season Pass owners, this pack includes personalization elements for the Jackdaw.
New ways to personalize the player’s pirate experience – Additional single player missions, weapons, skins, and collectibles.

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Season Pass grants a 20 percent savings off the regular price of each individual downloadable pack to be released before March 2014, and is available on PlayStation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

Ubisoft has confirmed that the fourth primary instalment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Black Flag, will launch on PC on 22 November, Xbox One on 22 November, and PS4 on 29 November.

The current-gen release dates are 1 November for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, and the Wii U version is coming on 22 November 2013.

The game has been in development for nearly two years, and is spearheaded by Ubisoft Montreal, the veteran AC studio. Ubisoft has pulled out all the stops and has support from other Ubisoft studios in 6 locations across the world.
