Call of Duty: Ghosts features aliens?

Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature an alien-killing mode called Exctinction, according to some leaked screenshots and a teaser by Activision.

The images appeared on Imgur by a user by the name of “smtkz”. The pictures show some sketchy but pretty plausible-looking images of stills which looks like Call of Duty’s zombies mode, except with giant aliens.

The mode looks like players will need to destroy the hives of the aliens, and survive the incoming waves.

To bolster the images and rumours, a list of Call of Duty: Ghosts achievements does show an achievement for completing all “Extinction challenges,” and further, Activision released a short video on the official Call of Duty Instagram account, which shows the Ghosts skull logo morph into a three-eyed alien silhouette.
