Konami Digital has decided that Halloween is a good time to update fans on the upcoming vampire-brawl, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which is pegged for release on 28 February 2014 on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
Konami has also outlined the content for special editions and collectible content, available to pre-order.
“Dracula’s Tomb Premium Edition” features a tomb casing, a copy of the game, four highly detailed miniature figurines designed by comic book artist Neil Googe (Judge Dredd, Wildcats), an A4 hardcover art book, and a Steelbook.
This set is limited to 30,000 units across Europe and South Africa, and will be available exclusively via BT Games and other select retailers, said Ster Kinekor Entertainment.
Konami has created an alternative Steelbook edition for pre-orders from BT Games and other retialers, which is encased in a metallic cover featuring an image of its central figure, Dracula.
Those pre-orders will also receive the alternate ‘Premium Dracula’ suit, a ‘Dark Dracula’ costume, or a ‘Relic Rune’ pack, that adds a wealth of relic items to the user’s inventory, depending on where it is pre-ordered.
Pricing on these special editions is yet to be confirmed.
The trailer below focusses on Dracula as the game’s central anti-hero, who is charged with engaging an even more evil force: Satan himself.
