VGX 2013 Award nominees – best games of the year?

Spike VGX 2013 news header

The Spike VGX 2013 awards will be held on 7 December at 11PM local time and the event will last approximately three hours.

Spike TV will be handling the broadcasting of the event through various streams and Geoff Keighley will be hosting the show once again.

The VGX (formerly VGA) awards will be an important event for the gaming industry, as this has now become not only a prestigious annual event, but also a place where some publishers and studios drop hints on their future projects.

The categories the awards cover are very accommodating, with some of the awards being influenced by votes from the audience and fans of the games being nominated. This year the category influenced by external voters is the “Game of the Year” award and the “Most Anticipated Game” award.

Below are the categories and the nominations for each category. What are your predictions for this year? Let us know in the comments below and in our forums.
