Valve has launched their Steam Holiday Sale, lasting 14 days until 3 January 2014.
The sale follows the now familiar format – daily deals on a selection of games and apps, 8-hour long flash sales, and community choice flash sales.
The collectible card rewards for purchasing games have returned, and these can be crafted into badges and traded on the steam market. Each time a badge is crafted using the cards, players will earn a random special item for 1 of 10 participating free-to-play games.
A difference in the sale this time is that cards not crafted into badges disappear from your inventory when the sale ends, so you are encouraged to sell them on the Steam Market to earn wallet funds, or trade them with other players.

- Bioshock Infinite 75% off
- Dishonored 75% off
- Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance 33% off
- Batman Arkham Origins 50% off
- The Stanley Parable 40% off
- Space Hulk 66% off
- Assetto Corsa 25% off
- Monaco 80% off
- Dead Island 75% off
