Deep Down gameplay trailer and new screenshots

27 December 2013

Capcom Online Games and Sony computer Entertainment Japan have released a new teaser trailer for their upcoming PS4 free-to-play online dungeon-crawling RPG, Deep Down.

Deep Down was first tantalisingly teased in February 2013 at the PS4 reveal – a fitting showcase for the new Panta Rhei 3D engine that powers the game, which was designed specifically for the PS4.

In the video and screenshots below we get a glimpse at the fantastical dungeons and monsters that will be encountered, as well as the pretty graphical effects the PS4 will be powering.

Dungeons of Wrath will be bathed in the red light of fires, while Dungeons of Sorrow will be cast in the cool light of ice.

Of the little else we know of the game, it seems that the player will be based in futuristic New York (2094) and will be transported to various dungeons by activating a collection of magic artefacts.

Deep Down is actually a working title which may change by the time of launch, which is pegged for sometime in 2014.
