Marvel games disappear from digital stores

2 January 2014

Speaking to Game Informer, Activision has confirmed that a number of games using Marvel licenses have been removed from digital distribution services, including Steam, PSN, and Xbox Live.

This is likely due to the licenses having expired, and so your only chance to grab these games is with remaining retail copies.

The games that are no more include:

  • Deadpool
  • Spider-Man: Friend or Foe
  • Spider-Man: Web of Shadows
  • Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions
  • Spider-Man: Edge of Time
  • X-Men: The Official Game
  • X-Men Destiny
  • X-Men Origins: Wolverine
