Fun with perspectives – crazy puzzle game tech demo

A 5-person group of students from Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center, operating as development studio Pillow Castle Games, have been working on a first person puzzle game that manipulates forced perspectives.

They have just released a demo of their technology. “‘The Museum of Simulation Technology’ is our playground we’re using to wrangle our brains around using your perception as a weapon. Think of it as a ‘proof of concept'”, said Pillow Castle Games.

The students are developing a full game around the concepts demoed and are keeping the details guarded for now. The demo below is relatively old in terms of their progress.

I’d love to try this using an Oculus Rift.
