Battlefield 4 Second Assault, Naval Strike launch dates announced

14 February 2014

DICE has announced the launch dates for the second and third Battlefield 4 expansions.

For Battlefield 4 Premium members on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and PC, Second Assault arrives on 18 February. Previously this was a timed exclusive for Xbox One owners, having launched back in November.

Second Assault becomes available to all non-Premium members on 4 March.

Second Assault features fan-favourite maps from Battlefield 3 – Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, and Operation Firestorm – all spruced up for the Frostbite 3 engine.

The next expansion in the pipe is Naval Strike, which deploys in late March for Premium members. Exact dates have yet to be communicated.

In Naval Strike, there will be plenty of water-based combat as the Chinese armada heads out to sea. New weapons, gadgets, amphibious vehicles, and four new maps will be introduced – Lost Island, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar.
