Sniper Elite 3 will be arriving in South Africa on June 27, Apex Interactive has confirmed.
This instalment sees the World War 2 sniping action set in “exotic” North Africa where the Germans controlled vast expanses of the continent’s deserts.
An incentive to pre-order the game is the inclusion of the Hunt the Grey Wolf mission, where players are tasked with taking down Hitler himself. If that sounds familiar, it’s because “Kill the Führer” was the pre-order incentive for Sniper Elite V2.
If history has taught us anything, it’s that the chance to shoot Hitler in the gentleman’s briefcase may just be released as a purchasable DLC post-launch.
“In order to prepare for this mission, and that crucial final shot, OSS Agent Karl Fairburne must infiltrate the ancient streets and crumbling rooftops of the German-held town using stealth and distraction. The question is – can you tell fact from fiction, the real target from the double?” asks 505 Studios in their latest press release.
The game developers promise expansive open environments, randomized target identities, and that no two play-throughs will be the same.
