Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the release of The LEGO Movie Videogame in South Africa on 14 March, where gamers can strive to become a Master Builder on the Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, PC, and the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS.

If the game is anywhere near as good as the movie, go buy it now.

Players adventure through the various worlds of LEGO – for the first time made entirely of LEGO bricks – with the star of the movie Emmet, while following the events of the film.

“We challenged ourselves to introduce a new element never-before-seen in any LEGO game and did that with environments made entirely out of LEGO bricks, giving players more opportunities to interact with the world around them,” said Tom Stone, managing director of TT Games Publishing.

Players will be able to use the abilities of more than 90 characters from the film, including Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman, to navigate 15 levels in the console version and 45 missions in the handheld version.

The suggested retail price for the game is R699.00 for the PS4; R549.00 for the Xbox 360 and PS3; R599.00 for the Wii U; R549.00 PSVita and Nintendo 3DS; and R399.00 for the PC.
