Do you have what it takes to fight for Nkandla and country on the battlefields of Dota 2?
Mind Sports South Africa have announced that players will have the opportunity to qualify for the Dota 2 national team on 19 April 2014, during the MWEB Dota 2 Championship.
The national team trials are open to any player registered to an MSSA affiliated club, and entry is free.
“Negotiations are under way in securing test match opponents. Rumours abound that once again the team will have to face the mighty Romanians as well as the Russians. If that happens, we’re going to need the best players to answer the challenge!” said MSSA general secretary Colin Webster.
2013’s Protea team took on Romania and Mexico, and was mostly made up of players from Bravado (bvd) and Energy eSports.
“We’d also like thank MWEB for their continued support for gaming in South Africa,” said Webster.
Webster said entries must be submitted by 15 April 2014.
