The battle against Sauron and and his orc army will begin, again, on 7 October 2014 with the launch of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
The game is set for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and PS4, will be heavily focused on the next-gen experience, with current-gen consoles set to lose out on the “level of depth and variety and simulation within the Nemesis system”.
Shadow of Mordor follows the story of Tailon, a ranger who, along with his family, was killed by the evil forces of Mordor. You are brought back to life by a mysterious spirit of vengeance and must exact revenge on those who dared to cross you.
Those who pre-order the game will get their hands on “The Dark Ranger” pack, which will give gamers a Dark Ranger character skin, challenge modes to earn bonus Runes, and access to leaderboards.
