Do you know what Call of Duty has been missing all these years – a dope rapper sippin’ on some gin and juice, encouraging you to pop a cap in a in some fool’s ass.
Infinity Ward have decided to fill this void and have announced that Snoop Dog will be the narrator for Call of Duty: Ghost’s multiplayer announcement package, due to be released on Xbox Live on 22 April 2014. The release date for other platforms is yet to be announced.
Expect lines full of “Snoopisms”, such as: “Don’t stop. Cap ’em and shank ’em!” or “Homie’s at the joint. It’s party time!”
“My voice can be connected to a game that’s so hip and so hood,” said Snoop. “It’s the coolest game in the hood. All my homies play this game.”
This isn’t Snoop Dogg’s first foray into gaming. He previously had a bit part in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and starred in his own game, Way of the Dogg, which launched last year to a critical reception.
